Cesar Torrente

The Rider

Cesar started riding at the age of 12 and rode his first grand prix before he turned 20.  Since then he has ridden and trained horses up to Grand Prix level and has been the Colombian National Champion at all levels over several years. Cesar has successfully competed in 3 Bolivarian Games, where he earned several Team Golds and Silver Individual medals, 3 Pan Am Games and 2 Central American Games. In 2010, he earned a Team Gold Medal at the South American Games held in Colombia and a 2nd Team Gold Medal at the Central American Games held in Puerto Rico.

He does not compete internationally anymore due to his commitments as an FEI judge “S” USEF Judge and clinician.

As an active rider and a well-decorated competitor, Cesar has a great compassion for the riders who show under him and always makes an effort to provide valuable comments that will help riders improve their scores and enjoy their journey in the world of competitive dressage.

During his career Cesar owned many horses and also trained several horses for friends and clients.
