BLOG 31. Entering the arena without bell and other faults like use of voice or no taking the reins in one had for the salute are faults and two (2) points will be deducted per fault, but they are not cumulative and will not result in Elimination

As we all know in the old times entering the arena before the sound of the bell was cause for elimination BUT NOT NOW.

In accordance with the FEI Rules, “…two (2) points will be deducted per fault, but they are not cumulative and will not result in Elimination”.

 THE SAME APPLIES TO:

“Not entering the arena within forty five (45) seconds after the bell, but within ninety (90) seconds;

For Freestyle tests, entering the arena after more than thirty (30) seconds of music;

If the Freestyle test is longer or shorter than stipulated on the test sheet, zero point five percentage points (0.5%) will be deducted from the total artistic score.

Using voice or clicking the tongue repeatedly

Athletes not taking the reins in one (1) hand at the salute.”
