Dressage scoring explained by Cesar Torrente No. 6. Effect of above or below TIME LIMIT and  can decimals be used by Judges?
QUESTIONS:

  1. What will happen to my score in an FEI freestyle, if the time of my ride is clearly above or below the time limit?
  2. Can judges use decimals in Freestyles, for technical movements or for the artistic marks.

Answers and possible marks:

  1. If your ride time  is clearly above or below the time limit, you will have a deduction of 0.5% percentage points from the total of your artistic score.
  2. Fort the technical marks Judges can only give half marks (0,5). For the artistic marks, Judges may use decimals. This is in effect now and obviously may be used by judges.
